What Makes the 1990 GT Performer so unique? Many BMX enthusiasts will agree that the patented and genuinely unique Double Bend Frame and “COIN ROLLS” make the Performer stand out and one of the most desired BMX bikes on the market. The “Pro Performer (The Top Model of the Performer, afforded by pro riders, and “the rich Kids”) made its big-screen debut in the 1986 movie “RAD.” Although the Movie version featured the single bend, it was redesigned in 1987 when GT released the Pro Performer and the Pro Freestyle Tour Model, the first year of the Double Bend and Coin Roll. This uniquely styled bike caused a frenzy amongst Bmxer’s across the world, and is still one of the most sought out BMX bikes in the world!
